How does whiteboard help you?
Whiteboard videos are a cost effective way to boil your ideas down to their essentials, and communicate them in an easy-to-understand accessible format. Combining text and the universal language of images, these videos make telling your story simple, entertaining and engaging. Studies show that viewers remember the information from whiteboard videos more than information from other media. Videos are also becoming the dominating force in online marketing with multiple platforms to share your message at no-to-low cost, including Facebook, Intagram’s IGTV, Youtube, and Vimeo. These videos are charming, fun and easy to share!
Our whiteboard videos have been used for:
Online Marketing for established businesses
Not-for-profit and charities
Corporate employee initiative programs
Annual business overview presentations
Start-up businesses pitching their idea (including Kickstarter fundraising)
University online learning Modules (Professor lecturer combined with animations and drawings)
what is the process?
The Black Olive Arts team breaks your video creation into the following stages:
Script (which you may already have, or we can write for you)
Storyboarding (rough drawings to plot out your script)
Voiceover (recording your narration with a roster of voiceover artists to choose from)
Character design and scene layout (refining the illustrations from the storyboards into complete whiteboard drawings)
Music and sound effects
We work with you at each stage to ensure your vision is being realized, so revisions are of course part of the process. For an in-depth explanation of our process please contact us.
What else can Whiteboard do for you?
Whiteboard style illustrations and cartooning can be used outside of the video format as well. Black Olive whiteboard illustrations have been used in follow-up materials (printed and PDF) to assist employees in retaining the knowledge shared in the videos.
Large whiteboard drawings have been printed as 4’x 6’ boards and used as speaking points in pitch presentations by marketing firms to clients. These drawings were also echoed in presentations decks and shared with the potential clients.
On the smaller end of that scale, our illustrator has created live drawings where ideas come fast and furious from marketing teams during intensive brainstorm sessions.
